Vaccinations
When you travel abroad for work – especially for longer periods – it’s a good idea to get
advice in advance on the possible risks you may face from infectious diseases. With adequate
precautions and the right vaccinations, you can minimize the risks posed by infectious
diseases.
Vaccination advice
KeurCompany offers vaccinations, so you can easily protect yourself against these risks. Of
course it is also important to take adequate precautions yourself. What you can do best or avoid
doing, and which vaccinations you require, depends on where you are traveling and what you will be
doing while you are there. Your own health is also a factor. For these reasons, every traveler is
given personal travel advice at KeurCompany. There are special sessions at a number of KeurCompany
locations for people with a fear of injections.
Making an appointment
You can make an appointment directly online at one of the dozens of conveniently located
KeurCompany locations. Note: Payment can only be made by debit card. To make an appointment, click
here. For more
information, call 0900 040 10 36 (€0.25 p.m.) or email
vaccinaties@keurcompany.nl.
The vaccinations and travel advice provided by KeurCompany are supported by the information website Gezond op reis.
Travel insurance
Travel insurance is essential to your peace of mind on a business trip. Carlson Wagonlit
Travel works in partnership with Europeesche Verzekeringen.
Business Travel Insurance
Europeesche Verzekeringen offers a unique Business Travel Insurance scheme that provides
worldwide 24-hour assistance from S.O.S. International and reimbursement of associated additional
expenses by way of minimum coverage. Depending on the existing provisions within your company, you
can take out supplementary insurance, for example for baggage or medical expenses. In this way you
can put together a tailor-made insurance package. You only have to request Business Travel
Insurance once for the entire company. A convenient identity card system means that every traveler
is fully insured for travel throughout the year.
APIS (Advanced Passenger Information System)
For security reasons, various countries have introduced the APIS system for international
travelers. Travelers need to provide certain details about themselves and their destination to the
airline before their international trip. The airline is obliged to pass on this information to the
relevant national authorities. This regulation also applies to onward travel to certain
countries.
Passengers are personally responsible for providing the necessary information. You can fill in the details at the airport immediately before departure. However, to avoid delays we recommend that you do this while checking in online. You can do this on the website of the airline you are flying with.
The Advanced Passenger Information System (APIS) currently applies to travel to:
- Australia
- Canada
- China
- Hong Kong
- India
- Japan
- Mexico
- New Zealand
- United Arab Emirates
- United Kingdom (Great Britain)
- United States
- South Africa
- South Korea
ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization)
Online application form
Travelers with a passport from a country that is included in the Visa Waiver program, including the Netherlands, have to register through an online system (ESTA) and answer a number of questions at least 72 hours before departure. The questions concern aspects such as passport and medical details, any legal or criminal issues, etc.
The information entered in the system remains valid for two years, or until the passport expires. This procedure replaces the I-94 form that was previously filled in on arrival. You can find more information on the scheme and costs on the ESTA website.
FLUX: for faster border passage in the Netherlands and the USA

The twenty participating airports include Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, New York JFK,
Washington Dulles, Houston, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Chicago O'Hare, Miami, Newark, Dallas Fort Worth
