KLM and Air France constant efforts to ensure passengers get from A to B on time are reaping rewards. In 2008, 81 percent of all flights to and from Schiphol and within Europe were on time. In addition to satisfied passengers, this success earned us the Schiphol Aviation Award.
Air France-KLM received this prestigious prize on 12 March from Ad Rutten, Operational
Director of Schiphol. Proof positive that the figures are not incidental comes from the data of
London Heathrow Airport, where KLM (including Cityhopper) has been among the top three most
punctual airlines for the past three years.
