CWT NeMO, a new online booking system for the maritime branch
Carlson Wagonlit Travel introduces a complete integrated online booking system for the maritime branch. With the user friendly online booking tool CWT NeMO - composed from the words CWT Netherlands Marine Online – maritime companies can both book flights at the reduced seaman fares and hotel accommodations or car rental.
Seaman fares offer a significant discount on regular air fares.Travellers with a so-called seaman or muster-book have access to these seaman fares. In one single display CWT NeMO shows at each booking if the reduced seamen tariff applies and compares it directly to the most favourable market fares, including low cost airlines.
CWT NeMo also offers a safety program with which a company can receive travel alert notifications and has the online possibility to track down its travellers at any time, at any place. With the online reporting, travel expenses are clearly shown and can be managed efficiently. The Marine & Offshore team is responsible for booking handling but they can also be contacted for all
questions about the booking process and more complex travel requests.
Are you joining us to the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai?
The World Expo 2010 is promising to be a unique experience. Over 200 countries, organisations and companies are pulling strings to present and promote their newest technology. The option to network with the entire world at one marketplace is one of the reasons why it’s so attractive to visit the World Expo. One of the highlights is the Dutch pavilion ‘Happy Street’, where Dutch companies show that The Netherlands is a world player in sustainability and innovation instead of just tulips, cheese and windmills. The Expo will be held from the 1 st of May until 31 st of October near the south of Shanghai, on either side of the Huang Pu River.
For many years our Government Services counsellors, as part of CWT Meetings & Events, have been organising trade missions to the World Expo for Dutch delegates and government officials. Now CWT Meetings & Events will also organise incentives, group travel and trade missions for Dutch companies to the World Expo in Shanghai. With our excellent hotel contacts and local partners you are assured of the right partner for your trip. Read more (in Dutch) on the CWT Events website or read our Dutch newsletter about the Expo.
Heathrow Express expands Paddington check-in
Passengers travelling with Lufthansa, KLM, Air Canada, Kenya Airlines and American Airlines from
Heathrow can now check in at Paddington Station.
The five join Delta Air Lines, Finnair, Iberia and United Airlines on Heathrow Express’s
recently installed Common User Self Service (CUSS) check-in kiosks at the train station.
Heathrow Express managing director, Richard Robinson, said: “Our self service customer check-in facilities have been very well received around the globe and I am delighted to be able to extend the service to these additional five airlines.”
Providing the extra option of checking in at Paddington Station, and printing a boarding card just before taking the Heathrow Express, is a good example of how we are continually enhancing our service and technology to remain the best transport solution to Heathrow Airport.
The three CUSS machines at Paddington are located below the flight information display screens at the Heathrow Express ticket office.
